Not Just An I-40 Corridor Blog

The publisher of the Mountainair Arts blog expressed a concern this weekend that NM-Central.com was not interested in stories and information from the southern part of the region – Mountainair, Tajique, Torreon, Punta, Manzano, and others. We certainly are – and we’re interested in Willard, Encino, and all the other communities in the region. If you know somebody who has a story to tell from any of those areas, or anywhere in the region, please let them know about this blog, and we’ll work to get their news, views, etc. posted.

We’ve gotten things straightened out, and welcome Mountainair Arts as the first link on our blogroll!

Thanks – I m certainly recommending NM-Central.com to Mountainair Arts readers. This is a break for me too – I cant link and direct readers to NM-Central for regional stories and information. I’m particularly interested in resource and information sharing that keeps business and traffic closer to home.

In the blogosphere, though, I’m just a blogger, not an editor – that’s a print media designation.

Thanks, Vanessa! I’m with you on all counts. Any time there’s something you’d like to add here, please feel free to let me know. Also, if you know anybody who’d be interested in having us post an article, we’d love to hear from them!

I guess I wear more than one hat, here. I actually do edit some of the posts – mainly for grammar, spelling, and punctuation – so editor seemed appropriate. I also write a lot of them, so I’m also a staff writer/blogger. I’m also the webmaster and hosting provider (my company, WeckTech, provides these services to a variety of clients).
